MET Museum e-Ticket

This is a ticketing software system for museums, monuments, and parks. It is designed for selling, reserving, issuing, and printing tickets both on-site and online. 

From small museums to large monumental complexes, MET is a reliable and flexible ticketing system. It provides all the features needed for ticket sales, advance sales, reservations, and issuance. This solution is straightforward and user-friendly, making it very easy to handle on-site and online sales, manage internal reports, validate tickets, and set custom prices, all thanks to software settings tailored to the customer’s specific needs.

MET is modular and scalable

MET is softwaredesigned to meet the changing needs of an exhibition space and how those needs evolve over time. The requirements of museum systems can change significantly, and sometimes very quickly. This is why MET is designed to be modular and scalable. Each installation is tailored to be the most efficient solution for that specific exhibition space at that particular moment.

What if requirements change?

The MET management system is flexible; it allows for the installation of one or more additional modules beyond the base setup. It also lets you add new, customized features tailored to changing needs. These changes improve the experience for both visitors and museum staff.
 

MET LOCALE is the core module of the MET system, designed to manage on-site ticket sales from one or more ticketing stations. It allows for the printing of fully customizable tickets on thermal paper, following the desired graphic layout. The software can be installed either on the customer’s own server or hosted on dedicated servers provided by Archimede Informatica, which are located in certified data centers.

Ticket verification will be possible through:

• Countertop scanner readers
• Handheld devices with a web application installed that validates and records access ticket
• Turnstiles using a software protocol developed specifically for this type of hardware

Integrating the software with these tools provides access to the ticketing database, which verifies by scanning a barcode or QR code the following:

the validity of the access ticket
the date and time the ticket was issued
a record of the date, time, and operator performing the check.
