MET Museum E-Ticket for Artwork: New Ticketing System at the Melendugno Archaeological Site

Access management at one of Puglia’s most evocative archaeological sites has been entrusted to MET ticketing software used to manage access to the Grotta della Poesia and the Roca Vecchia area, thanks to a new cultural enhancement project by Artwork.
This initiative addresses a challenge common to many cultural sites, especially public ones: managing growing tourist flows without lines and keeping visitor numbers under control at all times.
This new installation comprises three components that cover the entire sales cycle:

• On-site Ticket Office: for direct on-site admission management, fast and reliable even during peak times.
• MET WEB Module: for online ticket purchases—visitors book and pay independently before arrival, reducing wait times and crowds.
• Tour Operator Module: designed for tourism industry professionals, who can manage groups and reservations through a dedicated channel.

The result is a unified system where on-site, online, and intermediary sales converge on a single platform, with centralizedreporting and access monitoring.

The new ArcheoRoca project reaffirms the strength of the long-standing partnership with Artwork, which already uses MET for its installations at other venues such as LEcceEcclesiae and Artecclesiae.
