New PKP release: OJS and OMP version 3.5
Really good news: the Public Knowledge Project has released the new version of OJS and OMP making major improvements to the open source software dedicated to academic publishing.
The most obvious benefits of the 3.5 update are:
- a new, cleaner and more pliable user interface that will allow for customization of the visualization.
- greater transparency in operations and GDPR compliance.
- an integration with JATS for publications using XML that simplifies production and improves quality.
Our cooperative has prided itself on working with OJS and OMP for many years, recognizing the value of open source software and investing in its evolution, because we believe that CMS developed by communities of practitioners and experts are more secure and perform better. And this latest release confirms this as well.
